OTTAWA, Oct 8 (Reuters) – Longer-range forecasts recommend Canada’s fourth wave of COVID-19 may decline within the coming weeks, assuming present ranges of transmission don’t rise, a high medical official mentioned on Friday.

Teresa Tam, the chief public well being officer, advised reporters that the speed of transmission throughout Canada was now under 1, indicating the epidemic had “dropped out of a progress sample on the nationwide degree”.
