SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — There are 23 energetic optimistic COVID-19 instances inside South Dakota’s Division of Corrections (DOC) services, in keeping with a launch of numbers from the division on Tuesday. The information reviews that two of those instances are amongst employees, whereas 21 are among the many offender inhabitants.
The 2 instances amongst employees are proven to be within the South Dakota Ladies’s Jail.
As for the inmate instances, 8 are within the Ladies’s Jail, with one other 9 within the Ladies’s Jail Unit-E. Unit-E is a minimal safety unit positioned outdoors the perimeter of the jail fence.
