Tokyo lifts COVID-19 eatery restrictions


The Tokyo Metropolitan Authorities has lifted all coronavirus-related restrictions on eating institutions within the capital following a decline within the variety of new infections and hospitalizations.

From Monday, eating places and bars licensed as having anti-infection measures in place will not be requested to shorten enterprise hours or cease serving alcohol by 8 p.m.
